At Shir Ami's ELC, Your Child is Our Focus
Your child is our focus. We support the needs of our growing and developing child through comprehensive programming that is rich in secular and Judaic content. We provide a loving, fun, and safe environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child. Shir Ami's ELC is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania Dept. of Education and the Department of Human Services. We are also a certified Keystone Stars program.

Our nurturing and experienced staff, convey to each child a strong feeling of self-worth, a love of learning and an appreciation of Jewish heritage. Our teachers are committed to honoring the uniqueness of each child and celebrating his or her individual potential.

Our low child/staff ratio allows us to give your child independent attention within the context of classroom learning. Continuing education courses and workshops keep our staff engaged in relevant changes in the field of early childhood education.

From Our Director
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Shir Ami and as Director of the Early Learning Center Preschool, Kindergarten and Infant Center, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school. This is an exciting time in the life of young children. The world around them provides a vast array of new learning experiences. Together, as a team, we are all active participants in this process. The staff and I believe that quality education is a collaborative effort between the family and the school. We pride ourselves in the fact that we have close relationships with our school parents. This relationship not only gives us a better understanding of the children but it clearly sends a message to you that this is a safe and fun place to be. I hope you will join us and become part of our team!
